About the Introduction to Zentangle Art Class

The “Introduction to Zentangle Art” class is a beginner level setting and the first class you should take if you are new to Zentangle.

Instruction includes learning the fundamental concepts and benefits of the Zentangle art method along with several specific patterns. Students will learn creative and fun techniques for drawing pattern art and discuss how this simple technique can be used to relax, gain focus, reduce stress, and improve overall well-being. The class also explores possibilities for adapting the art form and displays many completed projects. Once students complete this beginner class they will have all the required supplies and experience needed to attend additional classes or begin creating Zentangle art on their own.

  • This class is appropriate for all art levels including the very beginner.
  • Class registration includes a packet with all necessary supplies.
  • Minimum age for participation in the regular class is 14 year old. Children and youth versions of the Introduction to Zentangle class are also available.
