What is Zentangle?
The Zentangle method is a fun and unique art form centered on creative design and the relaxing benefits of rhythmic art. It can be learned and mastered quickly, even by individuals inexperienced with drawing. Completed Zentangle pieces are distinct in their intentional, step-by-step pattern development and characterized by repetitive strokes, intricate lines, and abstract shapes. The Zentangle method promotes mindful meditation through a simple, calming state of focus that naturally reduces anxiety and imparts a sense of well-being. The numerous benefits of creating Zentangle art have made this method a fast-growing trend with schools, businesses, psychologists, medical professionals, physical therapists, artists, crafters, and imaginative individuals on a global level.
